Dr. Mohamed Abdullahi Gure holds a Bachelor of Education (Geography) International University of Africa-Sudan, Master of Educational Administration from International Islamic University Malaysia and Doctor of Philosophy (Education) from Islamic Science University of Malaysia.

He is Head, Department of Education- Somali National University, Member of National Committee for the Two-Year Teacher Training Program and Curriculum Development for In-Service Teachers. He worked with Global Innovation Network for Teaching and Learning (GINTL) and IOM/MIDAFINSOM PROJECT as a Curriculum Development Technical Advisor (National Position) Somalia.
